She has dedicated more than two decades specializing in assisting unhoused adults with chemical use disorders and mental health impairments. Our main campus is located on the north shore of Medicine Lake in Plymouth, MN, offering a natural environment in which to pause, heal and gain strength for a new beginning. The facility was at one point housed in the Union City Mission Chapel before it was torn down in 1995 and patients were moved to new facility. At Mission Care Center, our talented and focused staff will work with you, your family, and your healthcare provider, to create a comprehensive and effective care and treatment plan. Residents are able to participate in the Gazebo program if approved by a physician. This program is a privilege for residents that choose to enjoy an alcoholic beverage from time to time, or daily, pending physician approval. Residents that have physician orders to participate may enjoy a prescribed amount of alcohol during the daily happy hour. We provide behavioral health management to all skilled residents in need and have Psychiatry Services on-site with weekly visits from psychology.

Elsa provides oversight and direction for the domestic assault intervention project and leads a staff of advocates in providing criminal and civil legal advocacy to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
